John Boyter and Raysa Suarez have worked together for 20 years. We specialized in commercial space in the Santo Domingo real estate market for 15 years, including managing a coworking space. Raysa is an established Real Estate Broker with over 20 years of experience in this market. Today, Boyter Island SRL also serves as the operational hub for our digital ventures. John continues to support the real estate business through website management, digital marketing, and networking. Since the pandemic, John has been writing a blog and has now launched the online publication, VidaStories.

March 2026 | Santo Domingo
Mission accomplished: Boyter Island SRL is now an active outsourcing studio for my online publication, VidaStories.
This allows me to work from Denmark with my team of collaborators in the Dominican Republic: my partner and manager, Raysa Suarez; lawyer Ingrid de la Cruz; web designer Smiling Perez and developer Lorenzo Solano.
When I am in Santo Domingo, I can meet with the team in person and continue my networking, making my stays in the DR more meaningful, enjoyable and productive.
This setup gives us the best of both worlds: a professional yet relaxed base in La Esperilla in Santo Domingo for content creation and outsourcing, while Raysa continues building her specialized real estate practice.
While some of our team overlaps, she also works with an experienced freelance business administrator for operations and a dedicated tax accountant for monthly tax compliance.
